Primary Healthcare

Massive influx into urban areas through employment opportunities and immigration from neighbouring countries has placed extreme pressure on healthcare systems throughout these areas. HIV and TB as well as other diseases have decimated communities with poor access to healthcare.

Government facilities often fail to provide adequate provision to these communities and many private General Ptactitioners provide “conveyor belt” medicine, dealing with quantity of patients over quality of healthcare delivery. This results in a failure to provide what these communities so desperately need – good quality Primary Healthcare.

With the advent of low income medical schemes, and the probability of National Health on the horizon there has never been a better time to fill the gap of high quality, cost effective medical solutions to these communities. First class private primary healthcare is no longer the domain of a minority, and can readily be provided to areas with lower incomes. ACC provides these solutions.
